About Us

Homegrown Psychotherapy is a North West based Hip-Hop Group consisting of Freight Train from Tacoma & Severed from Tulalip. Homegrown Psychotherapy's music is a mix of Horrorcore with a twist of Gangster Rap.
Freight Train: Freight Train the founder of Unmasked Entertainment started making music back in 2009. Mainly producing tracks for a handful of friends that Freight Train kicked it with that wanted to start making music for them to bump when they were out putting in work or kicking it. At first they all were set on the same track but most of which ended up falling of. In the end Freight Train stood alone with his music. He then set out to show the world that there is no stopping him. Freight Train had the drive to set out to take over the NorthWest standing by his motto Which is to this day is What's Really Behind The Mask. Freight Train and his entire team are some of the quickest rising artist in the Northwest.
Severed: Severed was born in Everett, WA. but raised on the Tulalip reservation. He started doing music in 2011 by the name of Severed Triple 6. He gained notoriety in his area for his music featuring lyrics about Murder and other morbid subject in a sub-genre of Hip Hop called Horrorcore. Then in 2012 Severed started doing shows with a couple of his friends from his area going by the group name "Swamp Town Killaz" which lasted a year. Later when Severed went on to do shows by himself changing his name from Severed Triple 6 to just "Severed".
Homegrown Psychotherapy began opening for other artists as their tours rolled through the North West. Homegrown Psychotherapy has opened for acts like Boondox, Insane Clown Posse, Kutt Calhoun, Potluck, Liquid Assassin, Scum, Insane Poetry, Twisted Insane, Cypress Hill, DGAF, Mars, The DRP, Cousin Cletus, Axe Murder Boyz, Dez Looca, Enasnimi, Kung Fu Vampire, Mitchy Slick, Zug Izland, Kuzzo Fly, Andre Nickatina, Anybody Killa, Big Hoodoo, Smallz One, Liquid Assassin Illest Uminati, Spice 1, Jelly Roll, Kottonmouth Kings, Prozak, and more.  HomeGrown PsychoTherapy has released Homegrown Psychotherapy (June 2016), & The Deep Woods EP (March 2017)
